Events Description

Launched in 1985, the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival was the first of its kind in North America. Join us July 7 – 16, 2023, to celebrate busking and street entertainment with high-caliber acts from around the world!

From musicians to jugglers and acrobats to unicyclists, the festival features more than 500 outdoor performances by an international cast of amazing street artists.

All the action takes place in Sir Winston Churchill Square in downtown Edmonton and admission to the festival is totally free! The performers are paid through the ‘Pass the Hat’ tradition of busking, so be sure to bring some cash to show your support.

In addition to performances, the festival has a dedicated Kids’ World space for the youngest of festival-goers, Busker Academy where you can try your hand at circus skills, and an all-ages licensed patio music series in the evenings.

For more information about the festival – and to check out our absolutely stellar line-up of artists – head over to our website at edmontonstreetfest.com.
