Fort Edmonton Park will reopen on July 1 after extensive renovations. So many new things to see, including the new front entry plaza and admissions area, expansion to the Midway, and the new signature exhibit, the Indigenous Peoples Experience.
Fort Edmonton Park is the largest living history museum in Canada. Experience life in the Edmonton area all the way back to the 1700s. Immerse yourself in the narratives of the Indigenous people and walk through the days of the fur trade, the settlement era, the municipal era and the metropolitan era.
Costumed interpreters bring the past to life, answer your questions and help you immerse yourself in the experience. There are discoveries around every corner at Fort Edmonton Park, from exploring the Park’s authentic midway to catching a ride on a vintage streetcar. If you’re looking to do more than just explore Edmonton’s past, Fort Edmonton Park is your chance to live it.
