Events Description
Sip n’ Stitch is a hands-on photo embroidery workshop where beginners learn basic embroidery techniques and stitch their own chosen photo onto fabric to take home. No prior experience is required, all materials, a complimentary beverage, and light snacks are included. Photos are converted to black and white before printing, so the embroidery thread becomes the true focal point of each piece. Spots are limited to keep the workshop small, hands-on, and personal.

2:10 – 2:20 PM Welcome + intro Quick intro to Get Offbeat, photography consent reminder, safety note (needles/scissors)
2:20 – 2:35 PM Materials walkthrough Explain hoop, needle threading, knotting thread, using the printed photo as a guide
2:35 – 2:55 PM Basic stitch demo Teach 2–3 core stitches (e.g. backstitch, split stitch) with live demo
2:55 – 3:05 PM Practice round Quick practice on scrap fabric before starting the real piece
3:05 – 3:50 PM Main stitching time Walk around, help 1:1, drinks/snacks served during this block
3:50 – 3:55 PM Wrap & final touches Hooping/framing finished pieces
3:55 – 4:00 PM Group photo + goodbyes Thank attendees, mention future workshops, remind about socials
