Opening Gathering & Sound Journey
The time has finally come again for us to gather as a community. Together we\\\\\\\’ll connect around a crackling fire as Sebastien Bolessa takes us on a sound journey with his viola, mesmerising voice and his uncanny ability to capture and become one with the sounds and energy of the surrounding landscape.

Intro & Opening Talk | The Truth about What’s been holding us Back: How we Can Dissolve Self-Created Limitation in our Lives… Forever!
Ever felt like you were put on this planet for something amazing, that you are capable of so much, yet fear and internal negativity seem to interfere and take you off track? In this powerful and thought-provoking talk, Dolphin Kasper, long time speaker and coach, will be sharing what he has discovered in working with everyone from professional athletes to prison inmates over the last 20+ years and how you can free yourself from self-created limitation forever.

Intention Setting & Releasing
Together we will gather around the bonfire and be led through a special practice aimed at grounding us to the present moment, setting intentions and releasing the pieces that are no longer serving us.

High Energy Drumming
This high energy approach to drum therapy uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Recent research reviews indicate that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self… and it\\\\\\\’s simply an amazing way to connect to the joy, vibration, and energy of community.

Transcendental Movement | A Celebration of Rhythm, Sound & Dance.
Harnessing the rhythm from our drumming and improvised sounds… Sebastien will lead us on an explorational journey of movement. Connecting us to music, our bodies and innate joy. Together we will dance and move to the rhythmic celebration of life.

Awaken Into the Movement of Your Body
Rise and shine, loves! This class will invite an opening of your body through movement in a gentle, fun, and nourishing way. Jessica Laporte is an energetic and passionate mover who wholeheartedly wishes for everyone to know the absolute wonder that is the capability of their human body. Her style is an expressive blend of various movement modalities she has studied over twenty years of dedicated movement practice and aims to develop curiosity, love, and connection to the body that is new, enriching, and enlivening in every moment. You will connect deep within and with others, in a way that touches the deep nurture that is always present inside. What a way to start the day!

Peace & Prana Meditation
This mediation is aimed at empowering you to embrace your inner strength through breathing techniques. Prana can refer to energy, life, or breath. In other traditions it is called chi or qui. By controlling the breath in various ways, we will explore ways we can influence the flow of prana to find inner resiliency and ultimately find ourselves in a place of acceptance, peace and gratitude.

Integrating Healing & Rhythm Cradle
Dive deep into a sense of unity and healing with this powerful group experience of support that can impact every level of being. We all drum and get drummed by beautiful native frame drums, fused together by the sounds of the didgeridoo, viola and various live soundscapes designed help integrate deep healing and growth.

Forest Meditation and Medicinal Plant Walk
Tune into the energies of the forest and open your awareness to the medicine surrounding. Simone Clement, Community Herbalist, will take you upon an adventure to explore connection and the wisdom of Mother Nature. A guided heart meditation in the forest surrounding our camp will be followed by a medicinal plant walk, discovering the natural herbal remedies the earth provides. Learn about crafting medicines that support sustainable wild harvesting, identifying various herbs and mushrooms and empower yourself to heal through the abundance provided by Mother Nature.

5:00 pm – From Fear to Fearlessness: An Integrated Approach to a Life Beyond Limits

Would you like to experience the kind of unshakable confidence that would never leave you, no matter what the challenges that come your way?

Building on what he opens in his talk, “The Truth About What’s Been Holding us Back”, Dolphin will invite participates into taking an honest and transformative look at their past, false beliefs they created when they were very young and some very simple, extremely effective practices they can use to begin practically healing and integrating what has been left unresolved and that is the source of their fear. From this state of resolution, people will have a clear road map and blueprint for a new kind of life, one free of fear and self-created limitation.

Using a unique shift of perspective, proven empowerment strategies, and a variety of mindfulness and authentic relating techniques, Dolphin will guide participants through the often complex and challenging world of the unconscious in order to get at the very root of fear and self-limiting beliefs. From self-esteem, to work, to romance, when we address our limiting core beliefs, what is left is presence, purpose and a direct pathway to our full potential. Join us and realize what you have always known in your heart you are capable of!

Sing ~ Pray ~ Heal | A Musical Meditation Journey
Raise your voice and personal vibration with call and response chanting, ancient mantra and song. Connect and let go with visualization and prayerful breath release. Integrate through listening and receiving while being bathed in song and sound. Join Tiffany Sparrow to liberate your heart and mind and find deeper layers of healing through intentional sound and mindful prayer.

Live World Electronic Dance Fusion With Multi-instrumentalist (uni.)

Jay Robinson – (uni.) – a multi instrumentalist based in the Rocky Mountains, draws upon a deep well of tradition, knowledge and feeling, bringing something steeped and fresh to the world of live sound creation. Using a combination of live looped instrumentation with tablas, flutes, tongue drums, and other percussions; as well as analog beat sequencing and synthesizing, (uni.) creates a a magical, immersive atmosphere, interspersed with infectious grooves, inviting everyone to participate in an enchanting co-creative journey.

(uni.) has offered experiences at Inshala, Astral Harvest, Sangha, WUB, and Shambhala festivals, as well as creating sound vibrations for ecstatic dance and yoga practices, house concerts, and ceremonies, including opening for the likes of Grouch (NZ) and Adham Shaikh.

Elk Island Retreat | Alberta’s Best Kept Secret

Elk Island Retreat is a beautiful serene private campground and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether a world traveler or living local you’ll want to check out this little hide-away. A variety of camping opportunities are offered from comfort camping (glamping) in yurts and trapper cabins, serviced RV sites as well as tent sites. Geodesic domes are in the future plans so watch for updates.

Between relaxing at your site, be sure to walk the nature trails and explore the natural beauty that surrounds you. There’s a volleyball / badminton net and a couple sets of horseshoe pits on site as well as a grassy clearing where you can toss a frisbee or football or play your favorite game. There is also a coin operated shower and laundry facility on site.

Being located next door to Elk Island National Park makes it just a hop, skip and jump away from where you can spend the day hiking, canoeing, and seeing bison and other wildlife.

As of the announcement June 9th we see no issues as long as everyone is smart and we all follow the guidelines, but for your peace of mind we would 100% refund any passes, fees, sites, etc if we can’t proceed due to covid.
