Events Description
Golden Feather is a project started by Steve Kiely(Monster Truck) and Brad Germain (Dinner Belles, Coszmos Quartette), inspired by their love of the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and other bands that like to jam and take the listeners on a musical journey. The group was set to play its first show in March 2020 when the pandemic erupted, ending all hopes of live performance.
The members of the band worked on music remotely and released their debut album, Light On Water, in November 2020. You won’t want to miss it when the band finally starts performing in front of live crowds. Golden Feather’s show — a Dead-style, two-set evening — promises to be full of dancing, singing along, and good vibes, with the main focus being the give-and-take relationship between band and crowd. Kiely and Germain have been regulars in the Hamilton music scene for decades, along with the rest of the lineup: Ronson Armstrong on bass, Chris Wheeler on guitar, and Gareth Inkster on keys. Golden Feather will be recording a follow-up EP this summer with a mind to releasing it in the fall.
