Celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day and the Summer Solstice at THEMUSEUM.
A traditional Sunrise Ceremony will start at 5:59 am. Haudenosaunee Community Member, Kelly Fran Davis will share Haudenosaunee teachings and lead a tobacco offering. Local fire keeper, Mike Duke will support the ceremony and will keep the fire alive.
After the ceremony, guests are invited to come into THEMUSEUM’s Atrium and experience Haudenosaunee singing and dancing! Guests are also welcome to explore THEMUSEUM’s new Exhibition & view IYINISIWIN in EYEPOOL.
