Permanent Exhibitions

THEMUSEUM’s permanent exhibits are fun for the whole family! Visitors can practice the art of graffiti without the mess on the Virtual Graffiti Wall, while the Animation Station lets aspiring filmmakers get hands-on experience with our stop-motion animation studio. The Walking Piano encourages families to bust a move to create original compositions, and the forever favourite Bed of Nails determines who has nerves of steel. These and so much more await you on THEMUSEUM’s 2nd Floor.

Please be aware that some interactives will remain closed for now – the pin wall, the felt walls, the straws and connectors and the TotSpot.

Special Exhibitions Include:

Agents for Change | Facing the Anthropocene, co-curated by Nina Czegledy and Jane Tingley, presents ten interdisciplinary women artists working on the theme of ecological change at the intersection of science, technology and art.

Our ice caps are melting at an alarming rate! MELTING ICE brings together photographic works from local photographers Ben Eby and Brian Riddell on their recent trips to the Antarctic and the Arctic circle.

Also featured in this exhibition is an interactive iceberg installation! Explore these amazing works while ice cracks beneath your feet.
