Experience a Scenic Winter Heritage Train Ride!
This March Break, we invite you to embark on a scenic winter heritage train ride with the whole family! Passengers of all ages will be captivated by the wide-open views of the countryside and nearby Mennonite farms as we travel through Woolwich County.
Extra-special activities for kids will make this ride even more memorable, including:
- A colouring contest to win 2 free train tickets!
- Fun stickers and temporary tattoos for all young passengers.
Passengers riding in our Lounge Car will also enjoy one complimentary non-alcoholic beverage.
Please note: There are no refunds unless WCR cancels a train. Missed trains or bad weather will not be refunded.
This is a round-trip ride to Elmira and back with no stop in the Village of St. Jacobs.

Your round-trip journey begins at either:
- Waterloo Northfield Station (across the street from the ION station; no parking available), or
- Farmers Market Station (330 Farmers Market Road, between the St. Jacobs Farmers Market and the Value Village Shopping Centre; free parking available).
Free Parking is available in the Value Village parking lot located off Farmers Market Road which is adjacent to our station platform.
