Come enjoy Storybook Gardens in a fun festival atmosphere at a discounted admission rate!

Each summer, Storybook Garden’s hosts Friday Night Festivals, offering free admission for children and $5.00 admission for adults on Fridays after 5:30 p.m. throughout the summer.

Each Friday night, Storybook Gardens will have a new theme and special guest entertainers with a focus on community engagement and diversity. Nightly activities include character meet and greets, family dance party, photo booth, scavenger hunt, face painting, food trucks and a good night story plus local event partners and vendors. Friday Night Festivals are made available thanks to our generous sponsors.

Friday June 30 – The Ultimate Birthday Party

Friday July 7 – Star Light, Star Bright, Let’s Go to Space Tonight!

Come join Storybook Gardens and special guests Jedi Corbin, the London Public Library, Reimagine Co, Hello Maker, the RCR Museum and our sponsor Oxford Learning for a night gazing at the stars! You may even get to visit a very special guest as he blasts off to Infinity and Beyond! Special activities include creating Alka Seltzer Rockets from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Humpty Dumpty, space themed games at the chapel grass from 7:30 pm -8:30 pm , and a super space themed craft inside the chapel all night.

Friday July 14 – Trash or Treasure?

July 14th is our Trash or Treasure evening, where guests can learn all about recycling! Special performances will be had by the amazing Junkyard Symphony. Food trucks for the evening will include the Grilled Cheezery, Tikka Tomato, and Surprize Mii Refreshments. You will also get a chance to interact with the London Public Library, the Museum of Archeology, Reimagine Co., ALUS Middlesex, and our Sponsors Telus and Start.ca and many more local partners! Recycling themed crafts and activities will also be happening throughout the evening.

Friday July 21 – Art in the Park

Join our performers, Miss T the Bubble Queen for her Bubbleology show and Bronagh Morgan for her large interactive chalk art. You can also participate in a number of artistic activities at the Chapel or at any of the partner booths! Some partners you can interact with for the evening are the Oneida Language and Cultural Centre, The London Public Library, the Museum of Archeology, 4Cats Art Studio, and our sponsors the Optimist Centre, Montessori and TD!

Friday July 28 – Do You Believe in Magic?

You will on July 28th if you come to our Magic Festival! Enjoy performances by the Amazing Captain Corbin the Magical Pirate, and magical themed activities and crafts at the Chapel, and with our partners the Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Reimagine Co. and our sponsors Telus and Start.ca. Hungry? Why not visit the Grilled Cheezery, Lena French Cuisine, and Surprize Mii refreshments who will be onsite until 8:30. It’s sure to be a night you won’t forget!

Friday August 4 – Earn Your Green Thumb at the Garden

Learn about our local environment and how we can take care of it for the future by visiting our partners the Pollinator Pathway Project, the Wormery, Reforest London, Ska-Nah-Doht Village and many more! Eco-friendly activities will take place in our very own garden and through out the park. Food trucks that will be present for the evening include the Big Fat Food Truck, Beavertails, and Surprize Mii refreshments.

Friday August 11 – Annual Multicultural Festival

Presentations will be happening all evening from our partners. These partners include the Korean Society of London, the Oneida Language and Cultural Centre, the London Public Library, The Cross Cultural Centre, Nepali Dancers, the Museum of Archeology, Reimagine Co., Hello Maker, Ska-Nah-Doht Village, and many more! Friday August 18 – Going on a Bug Hunt, I’m Not Scared!

Come learn about the eco systems around us with the London Public Library, the Museum of Archeology, Reimagine Co., and our sponsor Telus! Come enjoy some yummy food as provided by Tikka Tomato, the Pierogi Queen, and Surprize Mii Refreshments. Eco-friendly activities will be happening in the chapel and in our very own garden throughout the evening!

Friday August 25 – Choose Your Own Adventure

Calling all bookworms! Join us for our Choose Your Own Adventure Book Festival on August 25th. Local authors, such as Nichola Zacher and Kathleen Mcleod, as well as the London Public Library and the London Writer’s Society to celebrate literacy! Rosie’s Streetery, Beavertails and Suprize Mii refreshments will be onsite to sustain you as you explore new worlds around you.

Friday September 1 – End of Summer Carnival

Our final festival is our year end Summer Carnival on September 1st! Join us for a night of fun and games, good food, and even a Flea Circus performance at the stage! Prizes will be available to win all night, some coin try your hand at our games, activities and crafts. The Grilled Cheezery and Tikka Tomato will be onsite, along with our very own Beavertails.

Tickets: Adults are $5 and children are free. We encourage you to pre-register to reserve your spots but admission booths will be open to assist walk-in guests.
