Events Description

Discover how animals survive winter on a snowshoe outing.

Have you always wondered what animals do in winter? Do you like to be active in winter? This activity is made for you!

Join a Friends of Gatineau Park nature interpreter on a guided snowshoe outing. On a course of about 3 km, you will discover how the animals of Gatineau Park adapt to the winter season. Guaranteed fun! As this is not an aerobic walk, remember to dress warmly!

Due to health instructions in force in Quebec, activities are limited to a maximum of 8 people. We also ask you to bring a mask with you in the event that the two-meter distance cannot be respected during the outing.

Who is it for?

This activity is for everyone (minimum age: 8 years old). No snowshoeing experience necessary. Please note that while the hike is considered easy, there are a few slopes and hills. Registration mandatory.
