BIG BAND OTTAWA CHRISTMAS SHOW | SUNDAY SWING @ KS ON THE KEYS
On December 20th, the Sunday Swing @ KS on the Keys weekly series (see below) presents a special Christmas Show featuring the 18-piece Big Band Ottawa.
This family-oriented Christmas event is at a children-friendly time – 5 pm to 7:30 pm – and features:
• A festive meal with soup, your choice of turkey, salmon, or vegetarian bake, a festive dessert, and coffee, tea, or a soft drink. Every entrée comes with mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and gravy. Child meals are the same as adult meals – just smaller portions.
• Live music by the fantastic 17-piece plus vocalist classic big band Big Band Ottawa, including lots of Christmas tunes, and a large dance floor.
• And for the children, Santa plays bass in the band! and would love them to come up and say hi.
• An amazing price of $70.00 for adults and $45.00 for children (plus Eventbrite service fee). Includes the festive meal, the band cover charge, tip, and tax. You pay NOTHING at the table.

SUNDAY SWING @ KS ON THE KEYS
This exciting new weekly series features eight of the Ottawa area’s best big bands – Aardvark Big Band, Big Band Ottawa, the Grey Jazz Big Band, the Main & Abbott Dance Band, Red Woodshed, Standing Room Only, The Stan Clark Orchestra, and The Wild Cards. Sunday Swing @ KS on the Keys also features smaller swing bands including the Apex Jazz Band, the Kitchissippi Jazz Kats, and the Ottawa Pocket Jazz Band.

KS on the Keys (www.ksonthekeys.com), located at 1029 Dazé Street by the South Keys Shopping Centre in Ottawa, is a contemporary bar and eatery with a varied multi-cultural menu featuring great food at very reasonable prices. Enjoy Italian, Asian, and Canadian fare, from fabulous pizza to succulent steaks. The spacious dining room with high ceilings and lots of room for the band, a large dance floor, and seating is reminiscent of the great ballrooms of the big band era.
KS on the Keys has its own parking lot, and there’s overflow parking in the cinema parking lot across the road. If you prefer not to drive, KS on the Keys is on the O-Train Line 2 which has a stop at the South Keys Shopping Centre.
