Events Description
This musical revue transports you from Cat Stevens to James Blunt, from Petula Clark to Adele and even from the Rolling Stones to the Arctic Monkeys.
With over 50 years of musical hits, the Britishow is a 90-minute musical review of Britain’s contribution to the history of music. This show encompasses more than 112 British hits sorted into 19 themes (ranging from the British invasions of 1965 and 1985, to James Bond, as well as the Monarchy).
Tag along with the 7 artists on stage (including Renée Wilkin, Yvan Pedneault and Pascal Dufour) for a road trip that will bring you to Abbey Road, Manchester, Birmingham, Scotland, and even more places that impacted the history of England and that of the Crown.
Never has a nation contributed so much to the emergence of new music; creator and director Mike Gauthier has made sure that this key message is found within the rich narrative and setlist of this show. With the musical direction lead by Philippe Turcotte, you are sure to be charmed by this British musical review where you will learn as much as you will sing and dance. What better way to honour the legacy of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and her successor, His Majesty the King Charles III, than with the Britishow.
