This year, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival will celebrate its 32nd edition. The program will include more than 300 shows, flights and multicoloured and special shape hot air balloons lit up for night flights, an amusement park, an impressive fireworks display, a classic car exhibit, buskers, craft market, a big top with 1001 hidden treasures, and more! Explore the inside of a balloon, bounce around in the Metro inflatable toys, discover the Repti-zone and the Rétro-Techno tent, dance to the silent DJs and more!
There is nothing more beautiful than the Desjardins Lift-offs! This year once again, there will be dozens of hot air balloons. As always, the public will get to enjoy the ultimate experience:seeing the region from up high. And this year, there will be the low-cost tethered flights, more limited and less dizzying. Visitors will still get to explore the inside of a hot air balloon and to meet the pilots.
This year once again, attend the incredible night glows. Come and see the hot air balloons sparkle amidst the stars. Offered every night, when conditions permit!
For its 32nd edition, starting a new era, Gatineau’s FMG welcomes the one and only Nickelback! Also, over a dozen Francophone musical artists will also be performing at the FMG. The program lineup makes plenty of room for up and coming artists, including the south shore of Montreal’s hip hop band, the Dead Obies.
A world of wonders on the Desjardins Family Stage: Surprises and thrills with Yannick Bergeron (Les Débrouillards), and stunning magic by Fredo will keep you on the edge of your seat. And the youngsters are sure to have a blast when they join Arthur L’aventurier, Nicolas Noël and the Salmigondis characters on their adventures through their dazzling imaginary worlds!
