Events Description
The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival would like to invite you to join us for a fun filled weekend at Western Canada’s largest kite festival in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. This 2-day event will host internationally renowned kite artists and performers from around the globe.
Experience the thrill of hundreds of kites painting the prairie sky with a beautiful array of colours, shapes, and sizes.
Sit back and enjoy interesting demonstrations of tandem or stunt kite flying and even some kite fighting demonstrations! There will also be many activities for children, families, and the young at heart to enjoy. From building and flying your own kite to facepainting, treasure hunting in the mystery sandpile, learning to juggle and spin plates or even learning how to fly a stunt kite with one of our Kite Flying Experts! The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival also runs concurrently with the Long Days Night Music Festival – a wonderful blend of eclectic, homegrown talent.
