Join our interpretive guides this spring for public programming!

Public Programs – July 2026

Visit Wanuskewin this July to learn more about Northern Plains Indigenous cultures, histories, and stories. Your admission covers access to our Visitor Centre’s exhibit hall and art galleries, a nearly 7km trail network, playground, and Bison Viewing Platform. Our on-site Restaurant and Gift Shop are open daily.

Every day, there will be public programming that you can join that is free with your admission, as well as a public Daily / Music Dance Presentation at 1:00 p.m. Self-guided activities like scavenger hunts are available at the front desk. Check our events calendar for any workshops, markets, events, gatherings, or specialty days.

Operating Hours:

Visitor Centre, Trails, and Playground: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Restaurant: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
On-site Gift Shop: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weekdays) | 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weekends)
*Please note that on statutory holidays in May to September, we are open 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

10:30 a.m. – Tipi Teachings (45-60 min)
11:30 a.m. – Drop-in Games (30 min)
1:00 p.m. – Daily Dance / Music Presentation
2:00 p.m. – Bison Chronicles Video Presentation (20-30 min)
3:30 p.m. – Step Back in Time Walk (45-60 min)
5:00 p.m. – Full Site CLOSED
