Events Description
Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink @Nutrien Plaza
Located in Kiwanis Memorial Park, adjacent to the historic Delta Bessborough Hotel, the rink has become a staple of winter life in the city. Access to the ice remains free for everyone, a feat made possible through the generous support of sponsors Cameco, Nutrien, and DTNYXE. While admission is free, donations are welcomed to help support continued operations.
Things you should know:
SKATES: We recommend that you bring your own skates. We have a small selection available for public use by donation but sizes and styles are limited.
RINK CHALET: Access to the chalet is permitted for skate fitting. The outdoor fire pit is available starting at 2:00 PM for warmup opportunities. Please dress for the weather!
WASHROOMS: The public washroom facilities beside the rink are managed and maintained by the City of Saskatoon. As this is a public facility, we recommend that children go with a chaperone when visiting the washrooms.
PERSONAL ITEMS: There is no secure storage available at the rink. Please leave all valuables at home. Meewasin is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
MINORS: Kids under 16 require a chaperone to use the site. Please do not leave minors unattended.
Please be kind to our staff. They are working hard to provide an opportunity for everyone an opportunity to skate.
