Christmas Bird Count for Kids
Meewasin and The Saskatoon Young Naturalists invite everyone to our Christmas Bird Count for Kids at Beaver Creek Conservation Area. - Who said there is nothing to do at Provincial Parks in winter? Enjoy ice-fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, tobogganing and more at the parks.
- Winter Camping can be challenging, but fun. Check out individual park site to see which National/Provincial park is open for winter camping. Take necessary arrangements before you head out!
- Plan a trip to neighbouring cities/town this winter.
Wipe away those winter blues! Grab your skates and join us throughout the winter season at Saskatoon’s skating rinks.
- Drop in for public skate at one of the indoor skating rinks or at the outdoor ice rinks.

II. Live Music
The Saskatoon Fireside Singers, along with special guest Thomas Yu, will celebrate their 46th Anniversary of Christmas Memories performances. The 100-voice choir will feature many of the best loved seasonal and sacred songs representing most genres from classical to contemporary favourites. Details

Jack and the Snow Queen
In this episode, the widow Spriggins gets caught up in the overwhelming onslaught of the 21st century. Slowly her heart starts to turn to ice, and she is kidnapped by the Snow Queen. She is taken away to a land of eternal snow where no human feelings are possible. Her good-hearted but, slow-headed son Jack must embark on an epic adventure to rescue her.
