Events Description
Our annual 50+ Festival returns with free workshops, lectures, and performances to spark joy and creativity in later life!
We are excited to gather again this year during Senior’s Month to showcase our courses, programs, and partners. Come join in the interactive fun, learn from current research, and flip the switch on the challenges to focus on the opportunities.
This four-day event welcomes presenters from Programs for 50+, Mosaic, Baycrest, TMU, Aging Playfully, This is Aging, and more! Join in discussions about social and emotional health, cognitive engagement, caregiving, and the intergenerational classroom.
There will be online and in-person events where you can learn all about need-to-know topics like:
Social prescribing
Smashing stereotypes
Person centered care
Music therapy
Theatre and film
Other interactive activities will keep you connected and inspired. There’s so much to discover at the 50+ Festival: acting workshops, singing, photobooths, creative games, and health assessments.
All in-person and online events are free, and a meal is included.
