This uplifting concert will blend the soulful harmonies of gospel with the vibrant sounds of jazz, creating a stunning night of holiday music. This encore performance of A Gospel Jazz Christmas will feature soul-tapping classics, heart-warming originals, and brand new arrangements sure to flood the prestigious Koerner Hall to the rafters.
The Toronto Mass Choir, known for its powerful gospel performances, will be joined by Juno award-winning Canadian jazz artist Laila Biali, gospel vocalist Latoya HD, and the Toronto Beaches Children’s & Youth Chorus. This event also marks the the official launch of the Mike Janzen Trio’s highly-anticipated Christmas album, Carols (Vol. II).
