Reel in a Big Catch at the Annual Derby
Join us for our annual Ice Fishing Derby at Island Lake Conservation Area. Cash prizes for northern pike, black crappie, and yellow perch in the adult category. Prizes in the youth category.
- A valid Ontario fishing licence is required to participate in the derby. Ontario Family Fishing Weekend takes place February 15-17. This is a license-free fishing weekend.
- No live outside bait. Bait can be purchased on-site at the rental shop.

Tickets:
Registration Fees
Adults (13+) $35, plus HST.
Youth (12 years or younger) $10, plus HST.
Daily park admission fees apply.
Credit Valley Parks pass holders receive free park entrance.
Register early, before February 6, 2026 at noon, for the opportunity to win a Family Credit Valley Parks Annual Pass.

2026 at 3 p.m., inclusive.
