Events Description
Come celebrate winter in all its musical beauty in a concert that journeys through snow-covered landscapes, icy moods, and the warmth of togetherness.
Centred around Sarah Quartel’s Snow Angel—a moving exploration of love, resilience, and hope in difficult times—the program also features works by Lully, Fleet Foxes, Gordon Lightfoot, and familiar seasonal classics, each capturing a different facet of the snowy season through the sparkling voices of the CCOC.
Song for a Winter’s Day (3:30 p.m.): In this relaxed performance for all ages, the full company, from the youngest Butterfly Chorus to the Young Artist Studio, explores the fun, beauty, and warmth of winter through a child’s eyes.
Song for a Winter’s Night (7:00 p.m.): Our Intermediate Chorus, Principal Chorus, and Young Artist Studio take you on a journey through the darkness of winter into hope in this more reflective performance.
