To mark the opening day of the CN Tower, 50 years ago on June 26, 1976, we’re inviting everyone to celebrate with us. Join us for an afternoon of free, family-friendly activations on our patio.
Enjoy our 553 cupcakes giveaway (one cupcake for every metre of the Tower’s height), watch the Tower’s story come to life through live chalk art by Jo the Chalk Chick, play some games and catch a surprise pop-up a cappella performance by Retrocity. Guests can also take part in fun experiences like airbrush tattoos and pick up a commemorative postcard to remember the occasion.
We’ll end the day with a special birthday light show, lighting up the Toronto skyline in celebration of five decades of innovation, connection, and unforgettable moments.
You don’t need a ticket; just come by our patio, join the celebration, and be part of our story.
