About the Artists:
daltonists
A trio from Poland, the daltonists is an experimentation band whose name draws from the concept of colour blindness. That idea has become their guiding idée fixe—a central inspiration and driving force behind their music. Their music combines the colours of contemporary jazz, afrobeat, dub, and African club music.
Despite their short existence (June 2021), daltonists have become a sensation on the local scene, playing at several prestigious festivals in Poland, including Jazz Jantar, True Tone Festival and OFF Festival. At the Crossroads Showcase Festival in Ostrava, they won a special award for the best band selected by music industry professionals, which resulted in invitations to further festivals in 2026/2027 (Sunfest Festival and Ottawa Jazz in Canada, Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Jazz Fest in Brussels) and others.
Their second album, “Gradient” was released in November 2025 by the British label Folded Music.
Juana Go-Gó
Juana Go-Gó is a Cali born, Toronto-based DJ, vinyl selector, and cultural curator known for crafting immersive dance floor experiences rooted in Latin and global sounds. Her sets move as travesías sonoras—sonic journeys that connect memory, diaspora, and movement, blending genres with intention, depth, and a strong sense of storytelling.
With a deep commitment to musical discovery and preservation, Juana Go-Gó’s selections draw from vinyl culture, weaving together Latin funk, soul, cumbia, salsa, and global rhythms into dynamic, genre-fluid sets. Her approach is both archival and forward-looking, creating spaces where tradition and contemporary expression meet on the dance floor.
