Exhibition “She Walks Between the Moments" by Kamaldeep Kaur

In celebration of the Festival of South Asia, Riverdale Hub Gallery is excited to present “She Walks Between The Moments\”, a captivating solo exhibition by Kamaldeep Kaur. On view from July 7th – August 1st, 2026. Join us on July 11th for opening reception from 2 to 4pm, artist talk begins at 3pm.

Rooted in the rich tradition of Indian miniature painting, KD’s stunning practice invites us to slow down and sit with the complexities of identity, migration, and belonging. Working with gouache and natural pigments on historically significant Wasli paper, she reimagines the classical “Nayika” (heroine) figure through her own lived experience of moving from India to Canada. The result is a collection of technically exquisite, emotionally resonant works that explore the quiet spaces between worlds.
