This Father’s Day, step away from the hustle and reconnect with nature at Kortright! We’ve crafted a fun, hands-on day for families to explore the great outdoors together.
Activities Include:
Fire Building – Learn the basics of fire safety and try your hand at building and lighting a fire (with supervision, of course!).
Shelter Building – Test your wilderness skills by constructing a shelter using natural materials.
Pond Dipping – Grab a net and discover the amazing creatures that live in our pond habitat.
Orienteering Challenge – Navigate the landscape using a map and compass in a fun course suitable for all ages.
Natural Playscape – Kids can let their imaginations run wild in our nature-based play area.

Bring along your favourite picnic lunch to enjoy!
Leisurely Trail Walks
Take a peaceful stroll along our trails and enjoy the fresh air, bird songs, and maybe even spot some wildlife!
