Events Description
While enjoying a menu inspired by 19th-century Scottish cookbooks, experience the tradition of the ‘First Footer’ along with a lively program of Hogmanay stories, poetry readings and early Ontario music played on period instruments, led by Ian Bell.
Dinner is inspired by Scottish communities in the early 20th century, and ingredients are based on food grown on the Gibson farm and available in Toronto in the mid-19th century.
