Yonge - Dundas Square, 585 Dundas St E, Toronto.

Events Description

The Pan American Food & Music Festival (PAFMF) is Canada’s only annual festival that celebrates the Western Hemisphere’s rich diversity of cuisine, music and art.

The Festival presents food demos by international chefs, live music and dance performances, food competitions and a Pan American vendors’ market offering diverse foods and merchandise and any opportunities to discover the delicious and diverse cuisine of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, as well as the region’s rich musical traditions. An event for all ages!

Superheroes of Ceviche pits some of the best Pan American ceviche makers in the GTA all under one roof. Will the tropics take it or will you, the voting crowd, choose something different this year.
With any luck, we’ll have a few previous title holders competing to vie for the coveted “Best Overall” as selected by you, the eating public. Presented by Miami Beach Grill

This year’s Empanada Competition brings some of the best flavours of this beloved Pan American, hand-held wonder. It’s a party food, a snack, and a meal throughout most of Latin America.

Festival Parade: With the participation of more than 200 performers from different countries and communities, this new Festival event will be a visually stunning mini-parade that will move around Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday night. We will be closing the adjacent Dundas Square St for the parade because this activity will attract families and media.
