The National Ballet of Canada returns to Harbourfront Centre with Sharing the Stage, free outdoor performances on the Concert Stage and free dance classes and interactive conversations.

The National Ballet will present three outdoor performances on the Concert Stage, August 17 – 19. Hope Muir, Joan and Jerry Lozinski Artistic Director, and Robert Binet, Curator and Producer, CreativAction and Special Initiatives, have curated a programme that features the National Ballet and three guest companies. The programme features the dynamic Ever New by Binet, a pas de deux from the sublime Concerto by Kenneth MacMillan, an excerpt from Rena Butler’s sensual Alleged Dances, a new CreativAction Micro-Commission from Indigenous choreographer Cameron Fraser-Monroe for National Ballet dancers as well as new works from guest companies Compañía Carmen Romero, Lua Shayenne Dance Company and Rock Bottom Movement. The programme will feature live music.

Tickets:

Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis from Tuesday, August 1.
You must create an account in order to book your spot.
You will be issued a general admission ticket by email.
Your spot will be reserved until 7:15 pm on the day of the performance ONLY.
Your reservation includes Show + Tell, an onstage artist panel discussion, which begins at 7:15 before every show.
A limited number of seats will be held for Rush seating on the day of the performance.
The Rush line will be open as of 6:30 pm on the day of the performance.
All reserved seats not claimed by 7:15 pm will be promptly released to the Rush line.
