Events Description
Meet us at Berczy Park for a special plaque unveiling and free walking tours!
Celebrate Toronto’s shifting shoreline and discover how the lake’s edge was reshaped by colonization, industrialism, and city-building with a community gathering, tours, and a plaque unveiling at Berczy Park.
It’ll be a splash! Learn about the history of our great lake while enjoying on-site community activations and historical interpretation. Activities and a performance by Trash Panda Brass will follow throughout the day!
At noon, join us for a special double unveiling of two new Heritage Toronto plaques about the natural shoreline and the archaeological artefacts found there.
At 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, join us on a free 60-minute walking tour about Toronto’s natural shoreline.
