Sorauren Park Pumpkin Parade

November 1, 2019

November 1, 2019

Sorauren Park, 50 Wabash Ave, Toronto

Events Description

With close to 2,000 pumpkins on display in recent years, the Parade is a neighbourhood and even regional highlight of the season. From witches and cats, to politicians and world events, the artful jack-o-lanterns represent the spirit of Halloween and also the spirit of the times.

Place your pumpkins along the inside edge of the path around the park. Please light your pumpkins with wax candles and not battery-powered lights or tin-bottomed tea lights that contaminate the eventual compost.

All participants are responsible for ensuring that their pumpkins, candles and other materials are disposed of properly at the end of the night.

Candles must be extinguished prior to placing pumpkins in bins.

The City will provide green bins and garbage bins in the park to help with clean up. Please make sure to dispose of your pumpkins in the bins provided, or to take them home and put them in your green bin.
