Events Description

Port Union Pumpkin Parade will be held on November 1. This event gives people an opportunity to display their jack-o-lanterns the day after Halloween. After all, a lot of effort is put into creating a masterpiece out of those orange orbs so it’s fun to admire all the creative carving that’s gone on in the neighbourhood.

Bring your carved pumpkin to the Port Union Community Centre between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and then enjoy viewing all of the pumpkins along a path in the park between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. After the event, pumpkins will be composted, so you don’t have to take them home.

You are welcome to dress in costume!

Afterwards, you can leave your pumpkin there and we’ll put it into a large compost bin.

Sponsored by The West Rouge Community Association, Centennial Community and Recreation Association, Highland Creek Community Association, and West Rouge Sports and Recreation Association
