Join The Body Shop and capture your moment of Pride in their immersive art installation by the courtyard! Share how you observe Pride whether through celebration, advocacy, or self-love. Tag @thebodyshopnorthamerica with the hashtag #SelfLoveUprising so they we celebrate with you.
This year, The Body Shop is fighting for LGBTQ2+ equality. Gay, bisexual, two-spirit, queer men, and trans women face an arbitrary, discriminatory 3-month period of abstinence before they can donate blood in Canada. Join The Body Shop and the All Blood is Equal coalition to end blood donation discrimination. Scan the QR code by the courtyard to sign the petition. For every petition signed, The Body Shop will donate $1 to All Blood is Equal, up to $10,000.
When we rely on sexual orientation or gender identity for blood donation criteria, it’s inherently discriminatory. It’s time Canada shifted towards a behaviour and risk-based screening process. Let’s end LGBTQ2+ discrimination, and let’s Rise Up with Self Love.
