Events Description
The Sickest Roast, a new live comedy show where comedians roast society’s most notorious afflictions, will debut on June 10, 2026 at Comedy Bar Danforth taking on the big C – cancer. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sunnybrook Foundation in support of the Odette Cancer Centre in North York.
Hosted by Leslie Seiler, The Sickest Roast will feature Guest of Honour and cancer survivor Daniel Stolfi with a talented slate of Roasters including Martha Chaves, Ken Hall, Laura Cilevitz, Freddie Rivas, and Kris Siddiqi. With head writer and director Natalie Metcalfe, the tone is bold but thoughtful – punching up, not down. The result: cathartic, funny, and deeply human. The Sickest Roast will be a high-energy, roast-style live comedy show with sharp writing, and a room that knows the target is never the people living with illness—the condition itself is the joke.
