Events Description
In this intensive TFS Summer Academy, participants work alongside Toronto Film School instructors to explore every stage of filmmaking—from idea to finished short film. You’ll rotate through key crew roles as you write a script, plan a shoot, film on set, and edit your project, gaining a clear picture of how a real production comes together.
Guided by working industry professionals, you’ll collaborate with peers while creating a finished short film you can use as your first portfolio piece. This week-long academy offers an introductory taste of the same hands-on, industry-driven learning that fuels Toronto Film School’s full-time Film Production Diploma Program.
***Applicants must be entering Grade 11 or 12 and be 17 or younger at the academy’s end.
