Christmas Store at Potter’s

A visit to the Christmas Store at Potters, which switches each November from being a full-service garden centre, has become an annual holiday-kickoff tradition for Lower Mainland residents.

The Christmas Store at Potters is the ultimate holiday haven for exquisite decorations, unique giftware, and specialty items. The largest Christmas store in Western Canada boasts designer trees and collectibles, thousands of hand-picked ornaments, 50 styles of Christmas stockings, stocking stuffers and much more. An incredible selection of toys, jigsaw puzzles, games, and gifts for those hard-to-buy-for adults rounds out the inventory.

A visit here isn’t just about shopping: it’s a family holiday experience that rivals anything in the region. There are 30 themed Christmas trees throughout the store this year, including two massive, constantly spinning upside-down trees that are loaded with white lights and decorations. • Sparkling Sapphire — From floor to ceiling and around every corner, there’s something magical to be seen. It all starts with the Sparkling Sapphire front entrance display, which greets guests with thousands of glimmering ornaments.
• The Dark Room — An attraction not to be missed is the 3,000-square-foot “Dark Room,” illuminated by more than 75 different Christmas-themed canvas paintings and over 60 different Christmas-themed water lanterns.
• Vintage Coca-Cola — The beloved collectibles area has expanded into an authentic 1950s diner-themed display (right down to the classic checkered floor!) of Coca-Cola ornaments, figurines and more. The display includes giant life sized polar bears and even an upside down icicle tree.
• Gourmet Treats — The gourmet food area offers thousands of specialty products, including hot chocolate from Montreal’s Gourmet Village (available in 41 different colours and flavours); locally-made jellies, syrups, and sauces from Krause Berry Farms, The Preservatory, and Cranberries Naturally; as well as Potters’ own Peach and Kentucky Bourbon Sauce.
• Candyland — A delicious section chock full of sweet ornaments including donuts, life size gingerbread houses, cotton candy, macaroons and everything you can dream of for the sweet tooth in your life.
