Fruit Bats is the long-running indie folk-rock project led by singer-songwriter Eric D. Johnson. Formed more than two decades ago, the band blends warm melodies, folk influences and introspective songwriting. Its 2026 album, The Landfill, brings Johnson together with his touring band for a fuller, live-driven sound shaped by reflection, memory, change and emotional honesty.
