Take Away Picnic in the Park By Vancouver Aquarium

Have you heard the news? The Vancouver Aquarium has extended its hours on weekends through the summer! The Aquarium is now open until 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with the last entry time at 5:30 pm. The updated hours are now posted on the Vancouver Aquarium’s website.

Perfect for a romantic date for two, or an evening outing for the kids, the extended hours allow you to take advantage of the long summer evenings to visit the Vancouver Aquarium’s 70,000 animals – including barking sea lions, fluffy sea otters, seals, snakes, a caiman, electric eel, crabs, octopus, shark, turtles and more.

Why not cap off your visit with a relaxing picnic in Stanley Park? Take-away picnics are now available for purchase from the Ocean Wise Café with the option to upgrade to a beautiful keepsake wicker picnic basket.

To ensure the safety of everyone, don’t forget that all Vancouver Aquarium visitors (including members) need to book tickets in advance of their visit. Also, face masks are required for everyone aged four and over.
