About The Ambassador Guided Tour
The Ambassador Guided Tour is an hourly guided tour organized by the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre to share the culture of Squamish and Lil’wat Nations with visitors.

What to Do during The Ambassador Guided Tour?
At the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, visitors get insights into two different tribes – the Squamish and the Lil’wat Nations. The art, history and culture of the two tribes are showcased at the gallery through various artifacts, exhibits, programs, fun activities and interactive exhibits. Visitors can hear stories about the artifacts, listen to legends that has been passed down from generations, understand the meaning behind them, learn about the traditions of the ancient Salish people, see aboriginal carvings, understand their art, hear their songs and play musical instruments. See intricately carved wooden wings of Thunderbird on a totem pole, create a cedar bark bracelet inside a traditional Squamish longhouse.

Tour Cost: Adults $18.00; Senior (65+)/People with Disabilities $13.50;
Students (13 – 18) /Child (6-12 yrs.) $5.00; Family Pass $42.00
Admission is free for members of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation upon presentation of a valid Status Card.

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is located in Whistler, BC Canada, on Blackcomb Way (4584) and Lorimer Road right across from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in the Upper Village. The Centre is just east, across the bridge from the parking lot.
Whistler is 2-hour drive north from Vancouver and can be readily accessed via shuttle bus. Free Whistler transit drop offs are available to the Cultural Centre.

Exhibit information is available in 8 different languages. Self-guided English audio tours are available.
The Centre is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a gift shop, cafe and ATM at the Centre. Guests can try First Nations-inspired cuisine at the cafe or buy aboriginal artwork from the gift shop.
