This year’s Korean Harvest Festival (TKF 2023) is set to dazzle attendees this weekend at Mel Lastman Square.
A cultural celebration renowned for offering an immersive experience of Korean traditions, the festival is an ode to Hangawi – Korea’s major three-day harvest festival on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
TKF 2023 taking place from August 25 to 27, will be a hotspot for K-Culture enthusiasts with over 20 food stalls dishing out traditional and fusion Korean delights, including crowd-pleasers like Tteokbokki, Bingsu, and the famous Korean hotdogs. Beyond the feast, revel in live performances from the dynamic B-Boy Breakdancing crew, “Fusion MC,” the sensational K-Pop group “JUST B,” and the vivacious female rock band, “Rolling Quartz.”
The weekend also offers and opportunity to dive deep into the K-Realm with K-Pop, K-Dance, K-Food, and K-Beauty showcases. Foodies can participate in the Kimchi Experience to craft your own kimchi or relax in the Chimek Garden, a haven for Korean Fried Chicken and Beer aficionados.
