Take your toddler to see their favourite TV character as Thomas the Tank Engine is returning to two locations in Western Canada with “POP on Board” tour this May.
Day out with Thomas offers an enchanting opportunity for children and their grownups to take a short train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine and to have their picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway.
Kids can enjoy various games and themed events, and check out the pop-up gift shop for exclusive Thomas swag.
Both Calgary and Squamish events are held at historic parks.
Visitors to the Calgary event on weekends from May 4 to 12 can also walk the grounds of Canada’s largest living museum – Heritage Park, one of Calgary’s most famous attractions.
The Railway Museum of British Columbia houses historic trains, locomotives and equipment. The whole family can check out the model railway display, visit museum exhibits, enjoy bouncy castles, and get lunch at one of the food trucks on-site, in addition to Thomas Train Rides and themed activities on weekends from May 25 to June 2.
Tickets cost approximately $29.95 plus taxes and fees.
