Organized by Tourism North Bay alongside partners, the City of North Bay, Downtown North Bay & Waterfront, Creative Industries, and The Artisans Way, the market will run for four weekends, offering residents and visitors a chance to celebrate the season and support local creators.

Now entering its second year, the Winter Market has become a central part of North Bay’s winter calendar. The 2025 edition will take place at Jack Burrows Parkette, in front of the North Bay Museum, on November 8, 15, and 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with an extended market on November 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to coincide with the city’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Walk. The event remains free to attend and promises an inclusive, family-friendly experience highlighting local artisans and performers.

What to Expect

  • The 2025 Winter Market will feature over four weekends of programming, blending artisan showcases, live bilingual music, and cultural experiences in a pedestrian-friendly downtown setting near the North Bay Museum.
  • Visitors can expect an expanded vendor lineup curated by The Artisans Way, live performances, interactive crafts, and themed character appearances including character visits from Santa Claus, Rumi (Nov. 8), Gingerbread Man (Nov. 15), and Elsa (Nov. 22).
  • The event schedule integrates tours at both the North Bay Museum and Quints Museum, holiday lighting installations, mini train rides, a community art project, and a festive photo booth for visitors.

What’s New

  • A Christmas Bar by The Block Public House will bring seasonal beverages and social space to the market’s outdoor setup.
  • Hot food vendors will be introduced, expanding culinary offerings for visitors attending the evening events.
  • Outdoor holiday film screenings on Oak Street West will transform the area into an open-air cinema for festive classics.
  • Self-guided tours through the Christmas Movie Tour and Christmas Windows Tour on Driftscape will highlight North Bay’s downtown landmarks decorated for the season.
  • Talbots Throwbacks will host a vintage-themed photo booth titled Throwback to Christmas, offering retro-inspired snapshots.
  • Musical performances will feature Restoration Jazz Band, CHAZZ, Chris Osbourne, and Constellation Theatre Co., spotlighting North Bay’s local talent across different weekends.

So, grab your calendar and circle those Saturdays! Bring friends, family, or just your festive spirit, and discover what North Bay has in store for you this holiday season. It’s a perfect chance to kick off the holidays, create new traditions, or even start your Christmas shopping early. Don’t miss out!
