Enjoy Lake Nipissing
Enjoy beautiful sunsets, or explore one of the largest lakes in Ontario through fishing, boating or watersports!
While it’s a large lake, at 873 sqkm, the lake is actually surprisingly shallow for the most part. There are four Provincial Parks located on or in the surrounding area. The lake is home to a wide variety of wildlife and over fifty species of birds, owing to the incredible wetland in the region and the Manitou Islands on the lake. Perhaps the most shocking fact about the lake is that it supports forty-four different species of fish. Yes, you read that right! The lake is a great fishery for walleye, pike, and perch, as well as large and smallmouth bass.
