This summer, the City of Pickering and Durham Region Transit are enhancing your summer days with a free weekend shuttle service directly to the vibrant waterfront of Frenchman’s Bay and Millennium Square.
From June 29 through September 2, including holidays like Canada Day and Labour Day, Route 100 will ferry you smoothly from Finch/Liverpool and Pickering Parkway Terminal to the heart of waterfront festivities—without the hassle of parking.
The service will operate between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. every 30 minutes.

The Nautical Village or the Frenchman’s Bay waterfront is full of possibilities. Walk along the boardwalk to Alex Robertson Park, where “Home Place” offers a moment of reflection amid sculptures by acclaimed Canadian wood carver, Dorsey James.
Children can enjoy the playground and splash pad, while adults can enjoy a game of beach volleyball or launch a kayak to explore the serene waters of Lake Ontario.
The city of Pickering also offers free concerts on Thursdays from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm during summer.
