The historic Alton Mill Arts Centre in Caledon is set to transform this weekend into a frosty wonderland for the annual Fire & Ice Winter Festival.

Set to take place on January 31 and February 1, 2026, the festival, sponsored by TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, blends outdoor excitement, artistic flair, and heartwarming community spirit in Caledon.
A Weekend Full of Winter Magic:
Mother Nature has done her part, delivering a scenic winter backdrop, while organizers have crafted a lineup filled with skating, snow activities, live music, and more. Whether you’re looking to indulge in warm s’mores by the fire or marvel at an ice carving in progress, there’s something for everyone.
Outdoor Adventures:
- Skating on the Millpond: Bring your skates to glide across the ice from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days, or jump into a friendly game of shinny.
- Ice Carving and Lil’ Chippers: Watch expert ice carvers from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or let kids try their hand at sculpting.
- Super Snow Slide & Life-Size Games: Enjoy these family-friendly activities all weekend long.
Indoor Fun:
- Shopping and Art: Explore galleries, tarot readings in Studio 206, artisan markets, and on-site shops to explore throughout the event.
- Kids’ crafts are part of the experience, including an encaustic bee ornament workshop in Studio 216, family mini photography sessions, and face painting.
Saturday’s Big Highlights:
- The Big Burn: A fire sculpture burns at dusk and will light up the sky, closing out Saturday’s main event lineup.
- Hot Mic Comedy & Concert: The night features the Stoney Lonesome Band alongside Manny Mangat, Stephen Kamalyn, Finn Bogi, Kaya Luna, Alex DeWitt, and Oliver Kouprie, combining live music and stand-up performances in one event.
