2. Family Channel Big Ticket Summer Concert

Family’s annual Big Ticket Summer Concert, presented by LEGO Friends, is back! Showcasing the biggest and brightest young talent from across the globe, this year’s lineup of performers includes Becky G, The Vamps, cast members from The Next Step, Shane Harte and The Tide. On the main stage there will be a live concert, presented by 790 CFCW and host Steven Chwok, which will feature an array of musicians who will begin performing at noon.

This family oriented Festival Weekend will once again take participants on a route overlooking Edmonton’s beautiful River Valley and through several of Edmonton’s historic and scenic neighbourhoods, starting and finishing at the Shaw Conference Centre. The Edmonton Family Festival Weekend includes an ABC Kids 1km, 5km, 10km, 21.1km and Marathon run/walk events and a Free Sports Expo.

Wildlife artist Colin Starkevich, a native Edmontonian, shares his passion for the Grasslands region of Alberta in his world première exhibition of “Glimpses of the Grasslands: The artistic vision of Colin Starkevich”. Through this exhibition, Colin depicts the uniqueness of the Grassland landscape of southern Alberta and its wild inhabitants. Details
