2. Callingwood Cornfest
The Marketplace at Callingwood is hosting the 17th Annual Cornfest, a family event in Edmonton that raises funds for the Edmonton Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Society. Event includes Fresh, hot buttered taber corn from Tanner Farms (by donation), Hot dogs and other delicious food & refreshments, Fire truck tours with the Edmonton Firefighters, Petting zoo, Pony rides, Bouncy castles galore, Live musical entertainment and more!
3. Harvest of the Past & Harvest Food Festival
Join us for our final special event of the season and witness traditional harvest activities from the period of 1892-1930. Celebrate Alberta agricultural roots with an old-fashioned threshing bee complete with vintage farm equipment and grain deliveries to a historic elevator.
4. Fall Family Festival
Fun, crafts and games for the whole family in the splendor of the fall Garden. Create your very own scarecrow, build a bird house, or make some fall-themed crafts together. Enjoy a beverage and bake a yummy apple by the Grebe Pond.
5. Harvest Festival
Join us at the Grain Elevator Park for old fashioned fun for the whole family, including a face painter, balloon artist, live music, games and children’s activities, tours of the provincially designated grain elevators, photo booth fun, hot buttered corn on the cob, a scavenger hunt, and more!
6. Neighbour Day
This fun family event introduces visitors and residents – old and new – to all of the opportunities in recreation, culture, and social services. It is an opportunity for you and your family to see what is offered through the City of Fort Saskatchewan and our many community organizations and businesses.

1. Edmonton Burlesque Festival
The Edmonton Burlesque Festival is a not-for-profit four-day extravaganza celebrating all things burlesque, vaudeville and fabulous. It is aimed at the local, national and international theatre and arts community. The long weekend encompasses ingenues and impresarios, the avant-garde and outrageous, in a series of intimate showcase and feature events including workshops and competitions!
2. Bermuda Fest
Bermuda is an annual multi venue festival located in Old Strathcona promoting independent live music and visual art.
JAPAN Film Festival @ Metro Cinema on Sept 12 – The Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary and the Japan Foundation, Toronto, bring you 3 contemporary films in Japanese with English subtitles, all Free Admission.
3. Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic
Queen – It’s a Kinda Magic recreates Queen’s 1986 World Tour concert, featuring over 20 of the band’s greatest hits such as ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘We Are the Champions’, ‘Under Pressure’ and ‘Fat-Bottomed Girls’. Join us for a knockout night featuring intense boxing competition. The main event is an 8 round bout with Cam O’Connell from Red Deer taking on Randy Lozano from Mexico City. Hometown boxer Cody Ries will go head-to-head with Paul Bzdel from Saskatoon in a highly anticipated re-match. The first fight was a four round bout that was a split decision.
