1. Summer Music in the Park

2. All American

This sparkling programme of American classics features Gershwin’s bustling, bluesy portrait of Paris’s street life—complete with taxi horns! The acclaimed solo team of Laredo and Robinson gives the first Canadian performances of André Previn’s attractive Double Concerto.

3. Field Trip Festival

Two-day boutique music and arts festival  in the heart of downtown Toronto! The 2015 edition will unfold across two days, programmed far beyond music to focus on highlighting the community’s best culinary offerings, as well as collaborative explorations on the themes of art, photography, technology, fashion and more.  Details

4. Cosmo MusicFest & Expo

Special Meet N’ Greet Appearance by STEVE VAI; Main Stage Headliner: I Mother Earth.

5. Spirit of the West

Multiple gold and platinum award-selling artists Spirit of the West will celebrate their incredible 30+ year career live at Massey Hall. Documenting what will be among the band’s final Toronto performances, the Folk, Celtic, Pop and Punk–influenced WCMA Hall of Fame inductees are expected to perform fan favourites such as “Venice is Sinking,” “The Crawl,” “Political,” and what is often called ‘Canada’s unofficial national anthem’ “Home for a Rest.” 

6. Lulaworld festival

The annual Lulaworld festival brings together Toronto’s finest world, jazz and Latin musicians presenting their latest compositions and projects and collaborating with celebrated international guests. With the Toronto2015 PANAM games just around the corner, Lulaworld 2015 promises to be a pre-party that will get Toronto dancing to the music of the Americas.

7.  A Tribute to Broadway

Singing Out’s Tribute to Broadway! Come join us on June 6th at the Glenn Gould Studio as we present our very own tribute to the Great White Way – SHOWSTOPPER. From old standards to modern favourites, this unique experience set against the backdrop of 1969 NYC, will take you on an emotional journey as we tell the musical story of the struggle and victory for LGBTQ+ freedom that culminated at the Stonewall Inn (1969).

8.  Music in the Orchard

Fruit of the Turquoise Vine – Michael Franklin and Amir Samimi mix elements from a wide variety of times and places, including world, contemporary and European early music. Spadina Museum’s Outdoor concert.

2. STOMP: Urban Dance

Almost 400 young people, from 6 to 24 years will be performing an eclectic array of dance styles including stepping, hip hop, break dancing, dance hall, Bollywood, krumping, jazz, contemporary and ballet. Performers from across the GTA are from Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs, private dance classes and community dance groups. Dancers are divided into three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

3. Scarborough Worldwide Film Festival

Scarborough Film Festival is an annual six day celebration showcasing local, Canadian and world cinema.

4. InspiraTO Festival

The Streetsville Founders’ Bread and Honey Festival is fun for the whole family!  From carnival rides and face painting to live music and ice cold beer, this Bread and Honey will be one for the books. Swing by Saturday June 6th at 10am for the Bread and Honey parade then come on down to the festival for FREE Panera bread and Honey…..mmmm!

8. Unionville Festival

Three days of fun filled excitement and things to see, savour and enjoy!  This year’s highlights include the annual Festival Parade, FunZone, Krazy Kraft Race, and Sunday’s Family Fun Day – plus live music and dance, fun races,  great shopping and much more!

9. Mac ‘n Cheese Festival

Mac ‘n Cheese lovers in Toronto are about to get all ooey and gooey inside! The first of its kind in Canada, this three day Mac ‘n Cheese Festival Presented by Metro provides a gourmet twist to everyone’s favourite classic childhood dish, while giving back to the community through FoodShare Toronto, a renown non-profit organization that delivers healthy food to our schools and low income communities; so indulge and have fun while giving back to your community.

The 11th annual Doors Open Whitchurch-Stouffville showcases 12 outstanding sites in the community!

13. Halal Food Fest

Mississauga Halal Food Fest will bring together a variety of Halal food from a wide range of suppliers, who will provide information, education, and awareness of the benefits of Halal products. There will be inflatable rides for the children to enjoy, local and international performers, a Turkish Sufi dance performance, an a mixture of both traditional and current musical entertainment that will cater to the older and younger generations alike.
