7. Indigo Arrows: Block Printing Workshop

Join designer Destiny Seymour of Indigo Arrows for a half-day block printing workshop inspired by the Manitoba Museum’s Indigenous archaeology collections. Go behind-the-scenes to discover traditional patterns and designs from Manitoba’s original artisans, and create block prints for tote bags and art cards. Participants will explore the archaeology collections both in the galleries and behind-the-scenes, and will learn how to design and create their own lino-cut block. Each participant will come away with two custom tote bags and several art cards, and will be able to take away their block for future printing.
