Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Friday Fun (September 19th): Step into a spellbinding evening filled with wizard-themed adventures. Try your hand at archery, axe throwing, pottery, wizard bingo, scavenger hunts, and escape rooms. Sip butterbeer, browse uncommon vendors, and join the WFCU Wizard Academy. Highlights include a wizard cooking class, live mural painting, a paranormal investigation, steampunk opera, and quirky shows that keep the magic alive well into the night.
Saturday Spectacular (September 20th): Explore wizard games, scavenger hunts, escape rooms, pottery, axe throwing, and archery while browsing uncommon vendors. Families can enjoy wizard bingo, mural painting, rope making, and the WFCU Wizard Academy. Live entertainment includes the Bathtub Singer, Lucky Barber Show, and Steve Goodtime’s steampunk opera, with quirky performances like the Charming Cheat Show. Highlights also feature author signings, costume contests, paranormal investigations, and fireworks lighting up the river at 9:15 p.m.
Sunday Funday (September 21st): From noon to 6 p.m., dive into a world of wizardry with butterbeer, scavenger hunts, quirky vendors, axe throwing, escape rooms, pottery, archery, and more. Kids can enjoy wizard bingo, mural painting, and the WFCU Wizard Academy, while families join a hands-on cooking class at Park House. Entertainment highlights include the Lucky Barber Show, Steve Goodtime’s steampunk opera, and the mischievous Charming Cheat Show. Don’t miss rope making, militia demos, and the costume contest at 5 p.m.

Throughout the weekend, you can also enjoy live performances and games and explore the fascinating downtown businesses.
Uncommon Festival visitors can indulge in sweet delights from Evelyn’s Candy House, including butterbeer fudge, chocolate frogs, caramel apples, cotton candy, and enchanted strawberry cups, with Richmond Popcorn Co. returning with butterbeer popcorn. Free “Transit Wizard” rides will be available all weekend, offering safe and convenient travel to and from the festival without the need for parking.
