Bernadette’s

Bernadette’s, already named by Air Canada to be one of the best new restaurants in Canada, offer guests an incredible culinary journey for the holidays.

Book your table now to try the menu of wines, sharing plates, and thoughtfully crafted meals. Or take advantage of the Astam Michiso – Tasting Menu Experience with seven courses to savour. The Tasting Menu is available throughout December.

Towne Chef

There are a few ways to dine at Edmonton’s new Towne Chef restaurant, including in-person dining with a menu or buffet service, by reserving the party hall, or having a cozy drink at the bar.

Towne Chef offers a menu of authentic Indian cuisine handmade with the freshest ingredients possible. Explore the rich flavours through soups and sides, appetizers, large sharing platters, noodle or rice bowls, and hearty meat or vegetarian mains.

MSSM

The downtown Edmonton Ice District recently welcomed one of its newest restaurant residents with the opening of MSSM.

The restaurant, which originated in Toronto and opened the first Alberta location in Edmonton this past fall, specializes in edomae-style omakase and is the brainchild of Michelin star chef, Masaki Saito. He is well-known around Toronto already for his previous sushi menus.

Menya Mori

The new Menya Mori restaurant in central Edmonton has a delicious array of freshly made ramen and snacks. Menya Mori, which is dine-in only, has been open for about a month, and there is a great deal of talk already about not only the ramen noodles but each individual bowl of homemade broth. Book your holiday meal and table with Menya Mori to warm up with shoyu, tonkotsu, or kinoko ramen!

Jinya Ramen Bar

Book your holiday table with Jinya Ramen Bar to be part of this large restaurant group’s first location in Edmonton. Jinya Ramen Bar is now open in downtown Edmonton with walk-in or reservation service. Cozy up for the colder season with the restaurant’s wide variety of ramen options, including many topping options for a DIY ramen bowl. Edmonton’s new Stacked Pancake House location in Millwoods is a Canadian restaurant which hails from the east. They offer the perfect setting for a family gathering around breakfast, brunch, or lunch for the holidays. This new brunch spot is located within walking distance from an LRT stop. The menu includes an array of classic breakfast and lunch cuisine like omelettes and egg dishes, sandwiches and toast, bacon and sausage, or pancakes and fruits.

One of South Edmonton’s newest restaurants is also one of Calgary’s most popular Korean barbecue restaurants.

Makchang Dodook, with one location in Calgary and now a second in Edmonton, focuses on authentic Korean barbecue dishes within its unique prison-themed dining areas. And from the menu, expect a great variety of plates that are perfect for sharing or for individual indulgence!

Brew & Bloom’s new south location and second café in Edmonton are possibly some of the most scenic places to bring your holiday plans! The locally owned brunch and lunch spot are famous for their gorgeous floral décor and equally stunning drinks. Brew & Bloom is much more than a place for drinks with full food menus, family photo ops, and opportunities to shop for local gifts. The café will try its best to accommodate walk-ins, but reservations are strongly encouraged, especially for the holidays!

The chain restaurant, known for their elevated pub food and social atmosphere, have returned to South Edmonton Common this past year.
